London Hockey website: Top Scorers & Clean Sheets

London Hockey Launches New ‘Top Scorers and Clean Sheets’ Leaderboards for 2025/26 Season

London Hockey has unveiled a brand‑new feature on its website designed to bring extra excitement and recognition to players across the adult leagues this season. The new Top Scorers and Clean Sheets page, now live on the London Hockey site, highlights the leading goal scorers and goalkeepers in both the men's and women’s competitions.

The leaderboard can be accessed here:

What the New Page Offers

The page brings together performance data submitted by clubs throughout the season, offering an easy way for players, coaches, and supporters to see how individuals are ranking across London’s adult leagues. Visitors can view:

  • Overall top scorers across all leagues
  • Goalkeepers with the most clean sheets
  • Breakdowns by specific league and gender, using expandable sections marked by red arrows

The tables will be updated weekly (midweek), ensuring player standings reflect the latest match results entered into the Game Management System (GMS).

Importance of Accurate GMS Data

London Hockey emphasises that the accuracy of these leaderboards depends entirely on the information submitted through GMS. Clubs are encouraged to remind their Team Contacts to:

  • Enter match results promptly and accurately
  • Ensure goalkeepers have the ‘goalkeeper’ box ticked on winning team sheets to ensure clean sheets are recorded
  • Double-check all player details, especially for those who wish to appear in the statistics
  • Players who have not consented to show their name on the website will appear as “Name Withheld.”

Best Viewed on Larger Screens

Due to the formatting required for displaying large tables, London Hockey recommends viewing the page on a desktop or larger device. Some smartphone users may find the tables more difficult to read due to screen-size constraints.

Looking Ahead

By showcasing individual achievements and adding a competitive edge to the season, London Hockey hopes this new feature will encourage even greater engagement across clubs. Players are invited to check in each week to track their progress and see how they compare with others across the area.
