Independent Scrutineer and Finance Director Opportunities
London Hockey is currently seeking to appoint an Independent Scrutineer to play a key role in supporting the Area’s financial governance. This voluntary position offers a rewarding opportunity for an individual with financial expertise to make a meaningful contribution, helping to ensure transparency, accountability and long-term sustainability, while supporting the continued growth and development of hockey across London.
The Independent Scrutineer provides independent assurance that London Hockey’s financial records and annual accounts are accurate, complete and prepared in accordance with relevant accounting requirements. The role involves reviewing financial statements, examining supporting records and controls, and reporting findings to members at the Annual General Meeting. Through this work, the Independent Scrutineer helps maintain high standards of financial oversight, transparency and accountability across the organisation.
