London Hockey takes the welfare of junior players very seriously and believes all young people participating in hockey (regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ability or disability) have the right to play in an environment free from poor practice, abuse and harm.

London Hockey has adopted England Hockey’s Safeguarding Policies, copies of which are available on the right hand side of this page.

Mark Bennett, our Governance Director, is filling this role temporarily whilst we look for a more permanent solution. He fills a similar role for his club.

If you have any concerns regarding player welfare or safeguarding, Mark should be your first point of contact but if she is unavailable, please contact Dawn Bonner, London Hockey Safeguarding Officer or Alison Hogg, Ethics & Welfare Manager at England Hockey.
